Simple steps to make delicious and flavorful konjac dishes


Many people think that making konjac is complicated, but in fact, it is not. Without complex seasonings or spending too much time, a few simple steps can make konjac dishes that are juicy, flavorful, and have a chewy texture. Even beginners can succeed in one go and easily serve them on home dining tables.


Prepare the ingredients: a fresh piece of konjac, 3-4 cloves of garlic, a few spicy millet, a little chopped scallions, and then add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a little white sugar. First, cut the konjac into thin slices, add a spoonful of salt to the pot in cold water, boil for 3 minutes, remove and drain. This can not only remove the fishy smell, but also make the taste more chewy and prevent it from being cooked to perfection.


Heat up the wok and add a little oil. After the oil is hot, add minced garlic and spicy millet and stir fry until fragrant. When the soup becomes thick, sprinkle chopped green onions and stir fry twice before turning off the heat and removing from the pot.
